The countdown is running

We can feel the growing excitement – our first official adventure as part of the new dive centre is just around the corner! Our bags are almost packed, and on October 30th, Bettina and I will arrive in Meedhoo.

I am incredibly grateful that Bettina is accompanying me on this journey to explore the Addu Atoll – together we will dive into its hidden corners to discover the most beautiful spots for the future Muraka Diving program. The atoll still seems largely untouched, which makes this adventure all the more exciting – we truly don't know what awaits us beneath the surface!

Back in April, I completed around 20 dives in the Addu Atoll. What I saw was sometimes breathtaking, but I have a strong feeling there's much more to discover. Manta Point, accessible year-round, is considered one of the best dive sites in the Maldives, and the wreck of the British Loyalty from World War II also lies here, waiting to be explored.

It's going to be exciting – we'll keep you updated on our discoveries, so stay tuned! We'll be doing a lot of diving, and as Bettina perfectly put it: "We'll just jump in and then it'll either be a hit or a flop..."

See you soon with updates straight from paradise!
